Each version of the console releases of Arch Rivals where varied in graphics, and where each known as a specific version. The NES version was known as the most solid port, tho lacking in graphics, it was the preferred version for gamers and was the only version where a dunk could be performed at the bottom of the 3 point line resulting in a dunk worth 3 points. The Megadrive/Genises version was considered the "floating shooter" version and was known for it being extremely easy to knock down 3 point field goals from just about anywhere on the court. The Gamegear version was simply known as "The not so great" version as it lacked in being recognisable as a version of Arch Rivals.
