Several sound effects in the game come from a few well-known sources. The screams made by the villager as he is being trampled on is taken from the scene in First Blood (1982) where deputy sheriff Galt (Jack Starrett) falls from the helicopter; the scream made by the mace warriors is Mitch (David Caruso) getting stabbed by Rambo in the leg. From Conan the Barbarian (1982) come the scream of the warrior being impaled by the trap (used for the hammer-wielding warriors), and the Priest as he is knocked out by Conan (skeletons).
