This game led to the end of the licensing deal between Namco, the owner of Pac-Man, and Bally Midway, its distributor in the United States. Subsequently, Namco never purchased the rights to the game, and it was never officially ported to other systems, nor does it appear in any official distributions of the Pac-Man series.
