A young couple gets more than they bargain for when they purchase a "charming" fixer-upper on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon. What starts as a dream come true slowly twists and turns into a nightmare as Justin and Emily unwittingly awaken a carnivorous fungal entity living under the basement. Day by day it attempts to drug and control the couple using an array of mind altering spores- and worse. But will it be successful.
