I think this premise has a lot of potential to be a great time capsule of how the shop has evolved from each decade. Unfortunately, the result leaves a lot to be desired. Apart from the standardised look for each interior, the decades lack detail and depth to give them the distinctive character from each era. For example, the 1980's has the substandard bright painted flooring and colour. But where's all the set pieces that people from that era came to know and love? No newspaper packaging (styrofoam boxes?), no deep fryer, no menu board, no cigarette shelves etc. Coupled with cringe PC Commentary.
