Two storks Wojtek and Matylda return to their home in Bocianów in spring. However, they lose the map and cannot hit their destination. They meet a carrier pigeon who advises them to go there using the mail services. Storks are packed into the package, but the journey in the package is unbearable. The storks run away. They go to the city and spend the night on the city chimney. Smoke and city noise make them rely on their own instincts and with its help they decide to find a home. On the way, they also release their familiar carrier pigeon, who was trapped by the Kirkor hawk.
