Blizzard, a young reindeer living at the North Pole, and his unique group of friends band together to save the future of Christmas, creating a magical holiday tradition in the process.

Story line
I enjoyed the story because I too was a weird kid who moved a lot, though not as much as Theo, and I had trouble making friends. Despite being outcasts and nerds, Blizzard and Theo work to solve the big problems they are dealing with because it's the weird intelligent kids that often grow up to get the job done. Both characters are likable but it's really Candy who stands out, and no wonder. I immediately recognized the voice of Melissa Villasenor, who I was so disappointed left "Saturday Night Live". The animation is nice and the film is quite colorful. There's nothing objectionable, and this was rated TV-G on CBS. The villains are good too, but I can't say who they are. A little on the scary side at the beginning, but not too bad. Santa is okay but not quite the classic character some specials offer, and his second in command is good. And I don't think we're supposed to like Santa's overly zealous security team. They're villains in their own way. But almost as well done. And of course technology has advanced way beyond where it was in the classic specials, so naturally we have the Internet and other modern conveniences. Santa would be expected to have very advanced security, but we have these features in our world too. Political correctness requires diversity, s while in the real world most characters with lines are white, Theo's crush and a potential hero of the story is Black. She is likable enough. I think it's a good enough special to add to the list people will watch, but I only watch specials once these days.
