Story line
After huge success at KABC-TV (Channel 7 in the Los Angeles area) Maila Nurmi a.k.a. Vampira had a falling out with producer Hunt Stromburg over the rights to the character she created. He wanted rights, but she was unwilling to give them up, which let to her leaving the station in 1955. In 1956 she moved the show to one of KABC-TV's rival stations KHJ (Channel 9), renaming it Vampira Returns.
