I review Asian shows (in this case, Taiwan) relative to each other as I don't feel it is fair to review it in comparison to U.S. shows. Most Asian TV shows, like this one, only reach climax in the last episode and there is little to no time spent on denouement. I often wonder if the writers and actors are suddenly told they have to wrap everything up in one episode, because the show is being canceled. With only 13 episodes this show keeps moving, I do like that, no time for boring filler material. However, I was disappointed that the ending didn't tie up all the major loose ends. We don't know what happened to Daisy who should have got her comeuppance, nor do we know what happened to the plastic surgery practice. The fat suit still looks like a fat suit, but it is the best of the ones I've seen. The actors generally do a good job, but the writers seem to know little about business, perhaps they are just simplifying the script? Overall I enjoyed it, partially because the story kept moving along at a quicker pace than most Asian shows.
