In 1957, am all American boy Jason Roberts travels to a small town in South America to find his brother Allen, a scientist sent by the company they both work for to investigate the reports of amazing forest regeneration in the remote areas of the Amazon basin. In town, Jason meets police colonel Sanchez, a ruthless corrupt man who believes that what Allen was actually looking for were priceless green emeralds stolen from conquistador Hernan Cortes by one of his underlings. In a local rundown bar, Jason also meets an attractive but distrustful adventurer named Maya who for reasons of her own agrees to help him and they team up. Jason eventually learns that the only one who can help him in his quest is an old cynical explorer, Hans Stroheim, who lives deep within the jungle. Unfortunately, many dangers lie ahead including dead ends, slavers, Sanchez and his men, as well as a xenophobic mysterious tribe that lives in the area. The game was produced by the team behind the Tex Murphy games.
