The story revolves around four youths named: Firion, Maria, Leon and Guy escaping their hometown Fynn, which was taken over by the evil Palamecian Empire. Soon they meet a resistance faction bent on overthrowing the Empire, and little do they know that they will journey across the world and save it from the clutches of evil.
