This is a remake of the original EGA version of Police Quest: In Pursuit of the Death Angel (1987) using SCI (Sierra Creative Interpreter) technology, giving the game VGA graphics, digitized sound and an interactive point-and-click interface. Sierra re-envisioned several of their older adventure titles using this process, including Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards (1987), King's Quest: Quest for the Crown (1984), and Space Quest, Chapter 1: The Sarien Encounter (1986).
