It's always good when someone who's involved in a documentary knows what he or she is talking about. In this case Russell is a former drug addict and he never made a secret of it. Even during this documentary he tells it to people. Like when he sees the stuff he used to take and admits he still feels a draw to it. But his will is stronger. Question is, does an end to the war on drugs help the addicts? There are a lot of points and a lot of factors. One thing is for sure, the current system does not work entirely. And I do agree that it doesn't help to put addicts in prison - rehab or other solutions are necessary. One hour short this can't cover everything, but it does take the effort to give you many sides. Even Russell questioning his own beliefs at times ...
