The plot/dialogue is a typical French sci-fi/fantasy mischmasch, cobbled together out of old Arzach and other Moebius shorts. The animation is uneven but worth a look for professionals. Rendering techniques at times are oddly out of sync stylistically but there are quite a few scenes where the design & draughtsmanship are quite remarkably integrated and fluidly "dead on". Moebius is a superlative draughtsman and designs better with pen & ink than just about any one in the business. Of late, his artwork has been generic but these shorts are a good sample of what a restrained, tasteful line style can do in Flash -- when the concept artists/animators can genuinely draw! Plus, these shorts will be a nostalgic flashback for anyone who cut his teeth on the old Metal Hurlant/Heavy Metal, the heady days of Moebius, Druillet, Claveloux, Tardi, et alia....
