Story line
The style reminds me a bit of the "Hunting Hitler" TV series on the History Channel a few years ago. After having read Edsel's book "The Monuments Men" and two other books on the topic WW II art theft in Europe, I simply had to watch this series and it turned out to be very compelling and never boring. As I have a relative living in Eberswalde near Schorfheide, Germany, who took me on a bicycle trip on Schorfheide in 1987, I was particularly fascinated with the first episode called "Goering's Greed" and the underground passage at Carinhall. The other 7 episodes were similarly gripping. Edsel, Woodman and Holland are very inspiring and I hope there will be more seasons from this TV series in future years. Too bad nowadays there are less and less interesting documentaries. This was definitely one of the better ones. Don't miss it. BTW I couldn't detect anything wrong with the narrator's pronounciation.
