In the ep. 1 when Jian Yao, played by Ma Sichun, was waiting for her interview, she looked at the bookshelves and picked out books. The books were actually, from left to right, "Battle of Changsha," "All Quiet in Peking" (2 volumes), "Ode to Joy" (3 volumes), and "When a Snail Fall in Love." These books have all been adapted into dramas. Director Zhang previously worked with Wallace Hou in the drama Battle of Changsha (2014), and Wang Kai has starred in all the dramas based on the last three books (All Quiet in Beiping (2014), When a Snail Falls in Love (2016) , Ode to Joy (2016))
