Story line
Besides the 2004 film in which the show is based on, the plot is very similar to the Brazilian novel "Incidente em Antares" (Incident in Antares) by Erico Verissimo, which was published in 1971. A mini-series based on the book, Antares Incident (1994), was released in Brazil in 1994.
