In this new six-part TV documentary series, celebrity Chef Christine Cushing eats, cooks and explores her way through traditional Chinese cuisines as they are found in North America.
Story line
While the content itself is interesting, this show comes off as a high school student project. The soundtrack is elevator music from 1994 and is poorly mixed. It's so bad it's distracting. The host tries to have personality, but falls flat. She definitely seems out of her element. Even the camera work and scene setting is lacking. The show doesn't flow very well and seems to jumó around. And the dramatizations and animation are so bad it's actually the most entertaining part of the show. I get they're working with a limited budget, but maybe hire college students instead of high school students.
