Story line
Although History On Your Doorstep only ran for one series, it was repeated multiple times on the BBC. It was screened again on BBC2 in December 1989, while BBC1 ran the series from September-November 1982 after its initial BBC2 screening, and repeated it in 1985. Finally, a special version of the last episode, "Reading the Landscape", was shown with sign language for the deaf in June 1987 on BBC1.
